Beginners to Pros

Sheri’s classes are popular with both teens and adults (many of them teachers themselves), and for good reason!

As well as being an established artist whose work has been collected both locally and abroad, Sheri has over 29 years teaching experience – in her studio, in community and art centres in Halton Hills and Brampton, and as a guest artist in secondary and elementary schools.

Students benefit from Sheri’s extensive knowledge, positive, encouraging attitude and small class sizes.

Currently the Tenaglia School of Art and Portfolio Building offers art classes to adults at various levels of experience on Monday afternoons and Tuesday evenings. Class times can change, and if demand is there to start one at another time, consideration will be given.

Sheri is also available to conduct classes off-site at community centres, senior residences and more. Also her online classes are very popular with many of her students.

Adult Classes

One of the community centres Sheri has taught at.

Sheri taught me to draw by looking at things in a different way. I’m now creating paintings that I never thought possible. She knows how to bring the artist out in anyone with her positive attitude, and immense artistic knowledge.

Shannon Hope

Sheri once told me something along the lines of ‘everyone has the capability to produce amazing artwork’, but she is the only person ever I’ve known who could bring it out in anyone.

Mark Francis

I’ve had the pleasure of taking several art classes taught by Sheri, and came away with a better understanding of techniques and theory, as well as creative inspiration. Her knowledge and her ability to relate to the individual’s needs were well evident.
